FestiExpo Lyon May 2026: Our Experience at the Expo
From May 8 to 10, 2026, Belle et Voilée took part in FestiExpo Lyon for the first time. We already knew this event very well, having regularly explored its aisles as visitors for years. But this time, we were about to discover it from a completely different perspective!
FestiExpo: A Journey to Turkey in the Heart of Lyon
Founded in 2010 under the name Festiculture, FestiExpo has become a must-visit event for lovers of Turkish culture. Much more than a simple trade fair, it offers a truly immersive Turkish experience for a day! From spice stalls and traditional cuisine to clothing, tableware, handicrafts and numerous activities, every aisle offers something new to discover.
The expo brings together merchants and exhibitors from Turkey, France and other European countries, creating a warm atmosphere reminiscent of traditional Turkish bazaars. A wonderful change of scenery, filled with the colors, flavors and atmosphere of Turkey, without ever leaving Lyon!
From Visitors to Exhibitors: A Special Experience
For several years, we had enjoyed visiting FestiExpo, an event we particularly appreciate. Finding ourselves on the other side this time, behind our very own Belle et Voilée stand, felt truly special!
Building on our first experience at Marhaba Expo, we approached this new event with greater confidence. This time, our stand layout had already been planned. We kept a similar setup while improving our selection of collections, their presentation and the stand signage to achieve a more professional result.
Less time spent hesitating, more attention to detail... and above all, more time to film the preparations and share a behind-the-scenes look at this new adventure!
A Bigger Expo and Wonderful Reunions
FestiExpo also presented a new challenge. With significantly larger crowds and more clothing boutiques, the competition was noticeably stronger than at Marhaba Expo.
But this edition also brought us a wonderful surprise: meeting customers who had discovered Belle et Voilée a few months earlier at Marhaba Expo! Some had actually hoped to see us again at FestiExpo. What a pleasure it was to reconnect with them and discover that our first meeting had left such a lovely impression! These reunions, along with the many conversations we had with visitors, made our second participation especially rewarding.
